MISSION STATEMENT

Through professionalism, dedication, integrity and training, the Nankin Orange Township Fire Department works to safeguard the lives an property, and to enhance the quality of life to the citizens living in the township and those passing through. This will be accomplished by providing a vast range of emergency services, strong public relations and fire safety education. We also endeavor to protect andpreserve the health of our membership and return our personnel safetly to their families.

Being a volunteer firefighter can be a rewarding experience. It offers you the chance to work with up to date rescue equipment, and to experience the camaraderie that comes with a community organization. We will provide all the training and education that you will need inorder for you to perform your duties. The Nankin - Orange Twp Fire Dept is constantly recruiting volunteers to maintain the quality of service we provide to the community.
Most importanly, you don't have to have any prior experience to join. All you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. If interested, plan on attenting our meeting night, the 1st Thursday of each month. Meetings start at 7:30pm. Stop in anytime and get an application  to fill out. Complete 3 meetings and a review of your application, you should be voted into the department.
